You may recall from a previous post that I am the official weather man at home. In order to fulfill my role and keep my wife happy, I am always on the look out for new weather Apps.
A couple of weeks ago, I was contacted by Mike on Twitter to have a look at Seasonality Go. This App is not just a weather App. It literally transforms your iPad into an advanced weather station!
While I was preparing this post, I showed Seasonality Go to my wife and she was very impressed with it.
Seasonality Go knows about 30,000 locations in about 200 countries. You can also use your iPad’s GPS to detect your location.
Customize your Screens!
The interface is entirely customizable. In Seasonality Go you can create any number of screens, each with a custom layout.
Choose from different widgets for current conditions, 7 day forecast, astronomical data, graphs for temperature, wind speed, probability of precipitation, snowfall amount, pressure, humidity and more.
Also you can select whichever widgets you prefer, adjust their size, and ultimately design your own screen.
Favorites
You can search for cities or locations and add them to your favorites. Then you can switch between locations and among your customized screens.

Select your Metrics
Whether you are located in North America, Europe or Asia, you can choose your metrics for temperature, wind speed, distance, pressure, etc.
Particle Mode
Seasonality Go includes “Particle Mode” which simulates the current wind on the map worldwide.
Zoom Presets / Display Mode
The Map graph includes a Zoom Preset that lets you switch between City, State, Region, Country as well as choose overlays for Radar, Satellite and Particle Mode.
On other graphs you can adjust the Display Mode to one or three days or one or two weeks.
Downloading Seasonality Go
Seasonality Go states that the data displayed on the App comes from many free online sources which allow the App to be subscription free.
The App is available for $9.99 on the App Store with no subscription or recurring costs. It requires iOS 5.1 or later.

Improvement suggestion
I would like to be able to save the metrics (Fahrenheit, Celsius, mph, km/h) as a template and be able to switch between them in a similar way as we tap and change screens or favorites.
The feature that I liked the most:
Being able to customize the layout of the screens and switch between them with just a tap.
