Many times we are required to prepare presentations for school or for work. But let’s face it. Our presentations are often an edited copy of an older presentation with images that many in our audience may have already seen or pure B.O.R.I.N.G text that has everybody yawning and wondering when it is going to end?!
I learned in school that a good presentation has to be creative, contain cool images and of course deliver the message. Preparing a nice one usually takes a lot of time, which in general we do not have.
There is a cool App on the iPad that allows us to prepare creative, fun, and professional looking presentations and best of all, the App is Free!
I discovered Haiku Deck a few weeks ago, although the App has been around for a while now. The App is very intuitive and easy to use.

Haiku Deck in Action
Haiku Deck lets you prepare a presentation in a matter of minutes. You can type a few words and search for images related to those words. You can import pictures from your camera roll as well.
No presentation is complete without a nice chart. Add a bar or pie chart and adjust it tapping with your fingers.
Need a new look? No problem. There are different themes available that you can use to change your presentation look and feel. Some themes are included in the App for free, others can be downloaded but cost a fee.
Sharing your presentations
Yes! your presentations can be shared on Facebook, Twitter, by email, and on the Haiku Deck site. You can also generate Powerpoint and Keynote files.
To be able to share you do need to sign up for a Haiku Deck account.
