I have been having trouble rescuing my iPad from my wife’s hands. She has been playing some games on the iPad at times for hours on end. The worst part is that she showed me how to play some of these games and now I’m addicted too!

It was a gift. Or maybe, you saved for a while and finally were able to buy it for yourself. Either way, you got a new iPad and are looking forward to see all the great things you can do with it. You’ve seen some cool apps out there and want to give them a try.

As time goes by and you learn more about your iPad you’ll find yourself using the device for longer periods and maybe even as an alternative to your laptop. Sooner or later you may start missing your laptop’s or desktop’s keyboard. Specially if writing long emails or texts.
There is an alternative to using the touch screen keyboard. On The new iPad you can use the Dictation feature (but you need to be connected to the Internet).
