I have many friends that travel abroad quite often. Naturally, they take their iPads with them wherever they go. Multiple destinations usually mean different currencies, which in turn mean different exchange rates. Unlike travel guides, exchange rates are constantly changing.
If you travel abroad frequently for business or pleasure it is important to know what the exchange rates are between the local and your home currency.
Today we will discuss 4 currency conversion Apps and their features. All of them are free, although some offer upgrades to paid versions.
Since exchange rates are constantly changing, you need to be connected to the Internet to use any of the Apps below.
XE Currency
XE Currency lets you do exchange rate conversions for a vast list of currencies. The App includes a calculator that comes very handy. You can also choose different views: Rates only, Rates and Inverse rates, Rates and Unit Inverse, and Rates and Unit Conversion.
